Overlays
Not all concrete floors are suitable for staining. It may be necessary to apply a micro-topping or skim coat to create a new canvas to stain. Floors that have had adhesives, stains, or have had cutouts for electrical or plumbing are good candidates for overlays. The cost for scored and stained overlays is generally less expensive than wood or tile.
